Overview

What the Virtual Patient Advisory Board is and what you can use it for.

The Virtual Patient Advisory Board is a research platform that gives you access to patient perspectives without convening a physical advisory board.

It is built on a panel of digital patient twins: AI representations of real patients and caregivers, created from qualitative research data. Each twin answers the way the person it represents would answer, in their own words, with their own history and attitudes.

What you can do

You can ask an individual participant questions and follow up, much like in a depth interview. Or you put a question with answer options to an entire segment and get back the response distribution along with original quotes. That also makes it possible to compare how different patient groups assess the same topic.

The current panel

The panel comprises 55 participants from the haemophilia community: patients across severities and therapies as well as caregivers, organised into segments.

Where to start

After signing in you land directly on the Patient Board, the chat you use to work with the panel. See Using the Patient Board for how to ask questions.
