Using the Patient Board

The Patient Board is your team's home page: a chat where a moderator takes your questions and coordinates the panel. You phrase your question in plain language. Group questions go to every matching participant in the selected scope; the moderator asks back when the scope is missing.

If no segment has been selected for a broad question, the moderator asks you to choose one using chips in the chat. Confirm the selection and the same question continues automatically.

One-on-one conversation

Direct your question at a specifically named participant or an unambiguous description ("Ask the working patient with severe haemophilia …"). The answer appears as that participant's own speech bubble. For a group question, the moderator always asks the whole selected scope rather than choosing a sample.

Within a session you can follow up. The participant remembers what you have discussed with them so far.

Asking a segment

Put an open research question to an entire segment, for example:

"Ask the caregiver segment: What matters most when switching therapy?"

Select one or more segments below the input field. Every matching participant is asked the same question. Their individual answers appear in a fan-out card; the moderator then summarises the recurring themes in prose and supports the answer with verbatim quotations. If some participants fail, this is reported honestly ("11 of 14").

Uploading material

You can present material to the panel for assessment — a concept, a packaging design, or an information leaflet, for example. Upload the file directly in the chat and ask your question about it. Supported formats are PNG and JPG images up to 7 MB and PDF files up to 20 MB.

Reading the results

A segment's answers remain visible as evidence and the moderator distils them into a concise response:

• Moderator summary: The answer describes recurring themes and differences in normal prose instead of a separate score or rating card.
• Verbatim quotes: The moderator is instructed to quote only wording that appears in the participant answers.
• Attribution to characteristics: Quotes are attributed to their segments and to the characteristics of the person who said them, so you can see who said what.

From a segment answer you can follow up with a single person further, without polling the whole segment again. This follow-up history stays attached to that answer.

Tips

The example questions on the empty home screen demonstrate the typical question types; one click sends them directly. The panel selector in the page header shows which panel is active and how many participants it holds. While an answer is running, you can cancel it with the stop button.
